MVTA: Apple Valley Area Stations
Purpose
This article is intended to provide comprehensive details regarding the infrastructure and security features at four key transit stations within the organization. It aims to assist employees and maintenance staff in understanding the specific setups at each location, including network, surveillance, and communication systems.
Scope
The scope of this document encompasses the following stations:
1. Apple Valley Transit Station (AVTS)
2. 157th Street Station
3. Rosemount Transit Station (RTS)
4. Palomino Park and Ride (PAL)
It includes the locations of network rooms, access requirements, and the availability of security and communication devices at each station.

- Service Desk - Maintaining the station location information
Stations:

1. Apple Valley Transit Station (AVTS)
- Station
- Network rooms: 2nd floor of SB and in parking garage for NB
- Two parts to the station: Southbound and Northbound
- Has cameras, and RTS screens
- No AP was found (There must be one or two)
2. 157th Street
- Station
- Outside door to network room
- Has cameras and one RTS
- Usually closed to the public, need access card to get in
- One AP
3. Rosemount Transit Station (RTS)
- Station
- Network room in the utility closet
- Key to room is in lockbox outside station
- Has cameras and RTS screen
- One AP in the network closet
4. Palomino Park and Ride (PAL)
- Shelter
- Switch is in a utility box
- Has cameras and RTS screen
- No AP
