MVTA: Eagan Transit Stations
Purpose
The purpose of this article is to outline the technological and security features present at various transit stations managed or utilized by the organization. It provides essential information about network infrastructure, surveillance systems, and communication capabilities at each location.
Scope
This document provides detailed descriptions of four stations:
1. Eagan Transit Station (ETS)
2. Cedar Grove Transit Station (CGTS)
3. Blackhawk (BHWK)
4. Heart of the City (HOTC)
It highlights the presence and availability of network closets, real-time service (RTS) screens, emergency communication systems, and access points.
Responsibilities
- Service Desk - Maintaining the station location information.
Stations:

1. Eagan Transit Station (ETS)
- Two network closets:
- Drivers lounge
- Parking ramp stairs
- Has cameras, RTS screens, and emergency phones
- Has one AP in the Drivers Lounge
2. Cedar Grove Transit Station (CGTS)
- We don’t have access to the network closet
- Metro Transit's station
- Has one RTS screen – No cameras
- No Access Points
3. Blackhawk (BHWK)
- Shelter
- Switch in utility box (Combo in keeper)
- Has cameras and RTS screen
- One Access Point over the utilities box
4. Heart of the City (HOTC)
- We don’t have access to the network closet
- City of Burnsville Station
- Has one RTS screen – No cameras
- Has one Access Point
