MVTA: Shakopee Area Stations
Purpose
This article aims to detail the specific technological and security configurations at various transit stations managed or influenced by the organization. It serves to inform staff and authorized personnel about key operational aspects such as network access, surveillance, and communication systems at each location.
Scope
This document covers the following transit stations:
1. Marshall Road Transit Station (MRTS)
2. Eagle Creek Park and Ride
3. Southbridge Park and Ride
4. Savage Park and Ride
Each entry discusses the specific features of the stations, including network room access, surveillance equipment, and communication device details.
Responsibilities
- Service Desk - Maintaining the station location information
Stations:

1. Marshall Road Transit Station (MRTS)
- Station
- Building is controlled by the City of Shakopee
- Need a special key card to get into the networking room
- Has cameras, and an RTS screen
- No APs in the waiting access.
Note: You should contact Scott County to access the Access Points (if any).
2. Eagle Creek Park and Ride
- Shelter
- Switch is in utility box (Combo in keeper)
- Has cameras and TVMs
- No APs.
3. Southbridge Park and Ride
- Shelter
- Switch is in a utility box near the main road (Combo in keeper)
- Has cameras and TVMs
- No Access Points but P2P for TVMs
4. Savage Park and Ride
- Shelter
- Switch is in a utility box (Combo in keeper)
- Has cameras and RTS screen
- The RTS screen box is tricky to open
- No Access Points
