How to upload DILAX config data
PURPOSE
The purpose of this document is to establish a clear framework for the extraction of the Dilax configuration file. This framework aims to enforce best practices, ensure standard compliance, and mitigate potential failures.
SCOPE
This document's scope encompasses two procedures to extract the data from the Dilax PCU.
RESPONSIBILITIES
IT is responsible for any procedures in which a data transfer takes place.
- Connect to the Dilax system locally or remotely.
Locally Via Hardwire
- Disconnect Ethernet Cable from DILAX.
- Connect a different Ethernet Cable from a Laptop to the DILAX.
- Configure IPV4 network configuration with the following information:
- IP Address: 192.168.23.10
- Subnet Mask: 255.255.255.0
- Gateway: 192.168.23.100
- Open Internet Explorer
- Navigate to 192.168.23.200
- You should now be logged into the DILAX.
Remotely
- Look up remote hardware addresses via the Bus Hardware Inventory Spreadsheet.
- Open a web browser and enter the remote IP address.
- You should now be logged into the DILAX.
- Choose Load / Save option

- Click browse to select your file.

- Choose a file to upload.
- This will be the config.xml file.
- Click Open.

- The file will automatically upload to the device.
- Check the upload message to know when uploading is complete.
- Click Reboot Device
- File is now uploaded and complete. Check the lower right-hand corner of the DILAX interface page to check for any errors.
