The Dilax APC Cable 204009-4-120's two connectors go from the X01 adapter on the APC Module, to the P2 port on the J1708.
The X01 connector has 6 pins in use, shown below, and will be installed on the vehicle already. These other pins will wire to other devices. You will need to remove only the two required pins for this cable to be attached.

1. Remove pins 2 and 3. This can be done by fitting a flathead screwdriver into the orange fitting above the wires for those pins. Push in, and then up to release the wire.
2. Push the replacement wires into these pin ports. The red wire is assigned to pin 2, and the black wire is assigned to pin 3.
3. Replace the other end of this cable on the J1708. This cable plugs into port P2 on that device.
4. Test to see if the Dilax is functioning to confirm this was done properly.
