How to Restore a File from Backup in OneDrive

Purpose: Restoring a previously deleted or corrupted file in OneDrive from a previous version.

Scope: Users within MVTA who have lost a file that was stored in the OneDrive

Responsibilities: IT Service Desk team is responsible for providing assistance to users who have lost their files in such a way.

1. Go to the file in the user's OneDrive (Online)

2. Select the '...' on that file

3. Select 'Version History'

4. From there, choose the most recent version and select the '...'

5. Select 'Open File'

6. Verify that this is the version you want to restore, and then hit 'Restore'
