How to Connect to Planning HP Designjet T520 Printer

Purpose: How to use the HP printing software to connect to the planning designjet printer.

Scope: This pertains to the Planning HP Designjet Printer and may apply to any other plotter HP printers.

Responsibility: It is the responsibility of IT to assist to connecting users to the printer when needed along with maintaining the appropriate addresses for this printer.

1. Open HP Click and go to Printers

2. If you don't see the Planning printer in the list, select 'Add Manually'

3. In this window, enter in the printer's IP address. Currently the BBG-Planning printer is 10.40.236.84 then click confirm

4. The printer should then appear in the list of printers. If it is the only printer, it will automatically appear in the application.
