How to Add Announcements to PA System

Purpose: Adding new announcements to the Axis Speakers that are located in the stations.

Scope: Axis speakers that are located in select stations such as ETS

Responsibilities:

External Affairs need to request an announcement change or addition through a service desk ticket. They will need to provide the audio file in a .wav format.
IT Team is responsible for uploading new announcement as requested by the External Affairs team.

The announcements are scheduled to play from 5am - 10:30pm every 15 minutes.

Upload to Leader Speaker

1. Remote into MVTA-Genetec using Remote Desktop Manager

2. Open browser and go to leader speaker (10.50.152.134)

3. Login information in Keeper 'Axis - Speakers ETS'

4. Go to Announcements

5. Go to Playlists

6. Upload audio file (needs to be .wav)

7. Go to the appropriate Playlist (Announcements)

8. Select 'Add Files'

9. Add the file to the Playlist
