How to Train Users on PA System and Customer Kiosk

Purpose: Explaining step by step how to train users on these systems. This will allow the trainings to be consistent and will also cover making sure they have access to the systems during the training.

Scope: Public announcement system and customer service kiosk. Related to Customer Service and Security personnel.

Responsibilities: IT Team is responsible for training users on this system. Customer Service and Security are responsible for using the system.

Customer Kiosk Intercom (Customer Service)

Prereq:

Install Genetec Client

Install Sipelia

Add user to PA Genetec group

Add user to call group in Gentec Config Tool

System Training

1. Show how to login to Genetec

- Using M365

2. Show where to find dashboard and how to save the view Show where the reports are

Live Training

1. Go to ETS(Or other station)

2. Press the button to test to button calls them.

3. Make sure they can see, her and talk to you

Public Announcement System (Security)

Prereqs:

Gentec Security Desk

Genetec Sipelia install

Added to PowerUsers group in Genetec

Give user SIP Number in Genetec

System Training

1. Login to Security Desk

2. Check the phone icon is showing up on the top right of the screen

a. If not, make sure sipelia is installed

3. Click the phone icon

4. Show how to get to the contacts, and the station zones

5. Show how to do the text to speech or live audio

Live Testing

1. If wanted, go to the station (ETS)

2. Test the user sending a page while in those areas
