Contractor Badge Issue Process STEP 1 PRINTING THE CARD Login to the SSTOps account on Onboard Surveillance Computer in BBG Video Room Click on "Cloudbadging Website" icon on Desktop Login with yourusername@schmittyandsons.com and your password Click on "Records" Click on "Create Record" Fill out the following information: CARD NUMBER (FIRST BLOCK OF #'S ON BACK OF CARD) FOR RECORD KEEPING - FULL FIRST NAME FOR RECORD KEEPING - FULL LAST NAME FOR DISPLAY ON CARD - FIRST NAME FOR DISPLAY ON CARD - LAST INITIAL TITLE (OPERATOR, MAINTENANCE, DISPATCHER, ETC) - EMPLOYEE # (E.G. OPERATOR - 1234) PHOTO (Click "Choose File" and select Photo File to upload) DATE ISSUED (TODAY'S DATE) Click "Create Record" Click "Print" on the line next to the Record that you want to print Click "SST Default Template". Make sure that the Job Title fits on one line If it doesn't, start over by going to Records > Print > Click "SST Long Job Title Template" Click "Save and Print" Ensure that the Print Preview looks correct and that the printer information is as follows: NOTE: It should remember these settings Place the black card into the printer with the back facing up and the cutout towards the printer Click "Print" STEP 2 REQUESTING ACCESS RIGHTS Navigate to support.mvta.com Login with your login information Under Quick Pick: select "Contractor Issues" Under Subtype 1: select "New Badge Request" Click "trak tip" next to the “New Badge Request” Input the requested information from that trak tip in the Full Description: box Click "Submit Issue" NOTE: The process is the same for "Badge Deactivation", "New Alarm Code Request", and "Alarm Code Deactivation.

Click Login Once logged in, you can click the “OPEN/CLOSE” button to open the gate for the bus having an issue You will then see the Gate Status change from Closed, to Opening, to Open Once the bus has passed through the gate, you will have to click the “OPEN/CLOSE” button again to close the gate and return it to normal operating procedure. Below are examples of how the buses are scanned and how to tell which bus is MVTA and Scott County. MVTA RFID tag (example) MVTA Bus number The Bus Number will be the last four digits before the letter F Scott County RFID tag (example) You may see some like this when you login to the gate program. These will be the Scott County buses running out of MRTS. They will not have the four digit numbering scheme as we do

How to Repair Badge Printer Tape Breakage 1. Open up the Center Panel on the front of the printer and remove the Print Tape Cartridge. 2. Inspect inside the cartridge slot and make sure there is not any loose tape up in the mechanism. 3. Take the two ends of the tape and use scotch tape to tape them back together. 4. Wind the tape a couple rotations forward so that the repair is covered. 5. Return the cartridge to the printer. 6. Press the Pause button. This will resume the printing. 7. If printing does not resume in 10 seconds, press the Pause symbol again.

ODK4/MCU Configuration File Transfer Setup USB Stick Preparation Insert your USB flash drive in your computer Ensure that no other files are on the USB flash drive Unzip config file it will create folder “odkconfig” with one file inside the folder. Eject the USB flash drive from the computer ODK4/MCU Reprogramming Turn bus power on, wait for the ODK4/MCU to boot up. Insert the USB Memory Stick into the USB slot on the face of the ODK4/MCU. If only one configuration file is present on the USB Memory Stick, it will automatically transfer to the ODK/MCU memory. If multiple configuration files are present, you will be prompted to select the file you want to load onto the ODK4/MCU. If message listing files are also present on the USB Memory Stick, you can select those files to upload also. NOTE: In some cases, you will need to Install the files using the “INSTL” button. You will then be prompted to remove the USB Memory Stick. The ODK4/MCU will show the file progress, and reboot. The ODK4/MCU will now operate with the updated files. Setting the VehID - The Vehicle ID is used by the ODK4/MCU to identify the vehicle for purposes of diagnostic files and wireless file transfer. Turn bus power on, wait for the ODK4/MCU to boot up. Press Menu>ODK(or MCU) > Enter Password 6511 Press Confg>Misc>VehID Enter the vehicle number using the numeric keypad or the left and right arrows and the Selct key to choose letters. Press the Green Square ENTER key to save. (1) If you do not see this, click the login button, and fill in your email and password. Click on the “Report an issue” box (2) Ensure under “Issue Related to” that you select “Incident Management” Under the field “Connect Issue Type” select your issue type (Location or Rider) You will see the fields change. The subject field will become the title of the ticket (1). Ensure that a detailed description of the issue is given. You can attach files as needed at the bottom (2) Fill in all the required fields and click submit! (3)

Scope This guide covers the steps from logging into the Service Desk to submitting a fleet service request. It is intended for users who need to interact with the Fleet Services category. Responsibilities Users are responsible for correctly logging into the Service Desk, selecting the appropriate service request type, and accurately filling in all required fields. The user must ensure that all information provided is correct to avoid any delays in service processing. First, navigate to https://servicedesk.mvta.com Ensure that you are logged in, in the top right corner you should see your first name initial and *NOT* a login button. (1) Next, select the “Request a Service” box (2) On the next menu, you will see some categories on the right side, choose “Fleet Services” From here, select whether you are requesting a vehicle move or a m5 user addition or removal. Purpose The purpose of this guide is to provide detailed instructions on how to access and utilize the electronic Pre-Trip Reports from Avail through both the OneDrive Mobile app and a web browser. This document is intended to assist users in efficiently finding, viewing, and sharing the required reports.. Scope This guide covers the processes of accessing the Avail electronic Pre-Trip Reports via the OneDrive Mobile app on iOS (and by extension, Android) and via any standard web browser. It includes steps to download the report, search for specific bus information within the document, and share the report via email. Responsibilities Users are responsible for: Downloading the appropriate OneDrive app and logging in with their authorized Microsoft account. Navigating through the app or browser to locate the correct Pre-Trip Report by date. Utilizing the search functionality to find specific details. Utilizing the sharing features to email the report to the necessary recipients. Accessing the Report in the OneDrive Mobile App Download the Microsoft OneDrive app from the mobile phones app store and login with your MVTA or Schmitty and Sons Microsoft Account. Select "Library" (1) and then search for "Pre-Trip Report History" (2) Tap "Documents" Tap "Pre-Trip Reports" Tap the Current Year Tap the Current Month Tap the file "Daily Pre-Trip Report" with Today's Date. (NOTE: This file is updated every 30 minutes.) A preview of the file opens Tap anywhere to bring up the Menu If you want to search the document, you can do this by tapping "Search", entering in the Bus Number and tapping "Search" If you need to email the document to someone, tap the Share icon Tap "Send a copy" One the share menu, tap your email app The app will open with the document attached and you can send the email as normal. Accessing the Report from the Browser Click the following link: PreTrip Reports Click on the Current Year Click on the Current Month Click on the "Daily Pre-Trip Report" with Today's Date.
